Web TimeOff 1.6 Brings Businesses Heightened Functionality

“One major challenge we were facing was just how quickly our company was growing and how difficult it was becoming to accurately track peoples’ time off,” said Erica Berg, human resources administrator for Deerfield Capital Management LLC in Chicago, USA. “The responsibility ultimately relied on one person receiving time off requests via email and plugging these days into a spreadsheet-but the only thing being tracked was vacation time-no sick days, personal days, jury duty, etc. Beyond that, compliance of people actually notifying HR of days off was not perfect by any means.”

At Deerfield, there was one person who entered data into a spreadsheet and then manually calculated accruals and balances. This prompted a search for an automated time off software. Deerfield chose Replicon’s Web TimeOff for a number of reasons.
