Replicon Partners with Porivo to Enhance Visitors’ Online Experience

March 5, 2001, Calgary, Canada – Replicon Inc., the premier provider of Web-based timesheet applications to optimize business performance, announced today that it is teaming up with North Carolina based Porivo Technologies to take part in a pilot program to gain feedback on its Website performance from an end-user perspective.

As part of the pilot program, Porivo PEERs, a group of individual users representing a diverse cross-section of operating systems and geographies, will be used to test the performance of Replicon’s site. The data collected includes DNS lookup and download time.

“The steady growth of the Internet along with a record increase in sales volume of our business software underscores the importance of our participation in this evolving area of e-commerce, said John Eddy, Chief Executive Officer of Replicon. “We are very excited to be harnessing the power of the latest technology to enhance the quality of our clients’ Web experience and meet their e-commerce needs. Since our website is critical to our customers’ overall experience and evaluation of our Web TimeSheet applications, this initiative fits nicely with our strategy to provide the best online experience possible for visitors.”

Will Holmes, CEO of Porivo Technologies said, “We are excited to be working with Replicon to provide valuable information to optimize their site design and content delivery strategies. By utilizing our distributed computing platform to collect end-user performance data, we are offering a new approach to Web performance testing.” “The data collected by our PEER network will enable our customers to make meaningful changes to their Websites that will improve the quality of their users’ experience,” added Holmes.
