Replicon, Inc: A Decade of Leading Productivity Software Solutions

Calgary, AB (June 29, 2006) – Replicon, Inc., the corporate time and expense tracking vendor of choice for businesses, today announced its tenth-year anniversary of web-based productivity solutions.

"Replicon's customers are the foundation of our success," said Raj. "I'd like to thank each and every one of our clients for their loyalty and continued support, which has propelled us forward in the last ten years."

Replicon hit the market of the World Wide Web with Web TimeSheet, the very first web-based time and expense tracking business solution. Web TimeSheet replaced home-grown spreadsheets that had been used to compute productivity management. The company, owned and operated by Raj and Lakshmi, has been growing ever since.

Replicon has evolved in size, development, design, and the number of organizations and customers it serves each day. Beginning with a staff of two working out of one server room in 1996, Replicon now has global operations in Canada, India, and the United States.

When Web TimeSheet was launched in the heat of the dot-com bubble, few people might have guessed that Replicon, Inc. would last, let alone grow. It was almost impossible for small niche Internet markets to survive. When competitors began to decline during the dot-com bust, Replicon, Inc. soared with a 40 per cent increase in revenue.

Twenty quarters later, Replicon, Inc. continues to buck the trend in the World Wide Web. Through the trials of shortage of labor and exchange rate risks, Replicon, Inc. has thrived.

Replicon’s success has many companies taking notice. More and more companies are examining how Replicon’s product suite can benefit their business.

Replicon’s line of products powers over 1 million global users in 55 countries. From small companies to Fortune 500’s, Replicon’s solutions maximize profitability, optimizes cash flow, compresses billing cycles, and better manages employee and project performance across the organization. Replicon’s clients include global leaders, such as Procter & Gamble, Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, SITA, Golder Associates, Compaq, Sony Music Entertainment, Charles Schwab and many others.

Replicon has been presented with many notable awards, including recognition as one of the Top 25 Exporters in Canada by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies with PROFIT magazine and Deloitte Technology’s Fast 500/100 list, and one of Alberta Venture’s fastest-growing companies in Alberta. The CEOs were finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and Lakshmi Raj was recognized as one of Canada’s Top Women Entrepreneurs in PROFIT W100.

A decade after its modest beginning, Replicon, Inc. has defied the odds and will continue to design the easiest web-based time and expense products while striving to work with customers to build the next best business solutions for years to come.
