Principal Partnering Group Expedites Audit Reporting with Web-based Timesheets

San Francisco, CA, August 24, 2010 – In an ongoing partnership with the global leader in web-based timesheet software, The Principal Partnering Group (PPG) has increased the efficiency of its operations, enabling the firm to minimize paperwork and strengthen its client relationships.

Based in Houston, the strategic relationship management firm has teamed up with Replicon – the makers of Web Timesheet, a web-based solution for tracking employee time and attendance.

Web TimeSheet has streamlined many of PPG's business processes, including payroll and reporting, and has enabled the company to provide documentation to clients much more easily.

“We strongly believe that PPG has increased its efficiency two-fold because we do not have to physically write our in/out time, nor do we have to prepare reports manually,” said Lolalisa Decarlo King, director of business operations and administration at PPG. “We now have that valuable time to serve our clients better, strategize further and engage others even stronger. While we are a very small company, Replicon Time & Attendance helps us serve very large clients.”

In the past, PPG employees logged their time on paper, which was difficult to manage and conflicted with the firm's green objectives. This system also made it difficult to pull together reports – an essential requirement for its government contracts. With paper timesheets, it could take at least a week of full-time work to assimilate hundreds of timesheets across all employees on a project.

After reviewing several time-tracking solutions, PPG chose Replicon’s Web Timesheet for its superior functionality and low-cost Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The system was implemented in one day, eliminating the need for paper timesheets and allowing employees to log their hours from anywhere.

With Replicon, PPG now pulls quick reports on employee activities for its payroll operations, and can easily export data to Excel, as PDFs, or email it. In the event of an audit, PPG can produce the required documents in a couple of hours or less.

“PPG plays an important role in helping companies maximize efficiency and establish successful business partnerships,” said Raj Narayanaswamy, Co-CEO of Replicon. “As a model to its clients, PPG has significantly optimized its own operations with the help of Web TimeSheet, allowing them to work smarter, eliminate waste, and serve their clients even better.”

In addition to utilizing Replicon's built-in reports, PPG has worked closely with Replicon customer service by phone to customize a dozen reports for the company’s internal and client requirements. Replicon has become a reliable partner to the firm, ensuring the system always works as PPG needs.

“We believe that Replicon is the best in the industry for customer service,” King said. “I don’t care what time of day or night, they have people available on the spot to answer any questions, which really makes a difference for a small business.”
