REDWOOD CITY, California – April 26, 2016 – Replicon, the leading provider of time asset management solutions, today announced that Mimeo, innovator of online managed content distribution and printing, has selected the Replicon TimeAttend and CloudClock solutions. The company intends to use Replicon across its corporate offices and print facilities in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany.
Mimeo previously had a one-stop solution from a vendor that included time and attendance, payroll and analytics. However, Mimeo found that this system produced frequent inaccuracies when exporting employee hours worked to payroll, did not provide real-time visibility into staff hours and time off balances, and lacked request and approval custom reporting capabilities.
“We have over 800 people across our offices, over half of which are production employees at our print facilities. However, we lacked visibility in managing the labor rates of these hourly employees as well as our office-based staff. Many reports would take 12-16 weeks to produce at an additional cost,” said Adam Ferguson, VP Corporate Services & General Counsel at Mimeo. “As a global company with specific wage and hour stipulations, a significant delay in receiving this critical insight was a hindrance. We quickly determined that Replicon would deliver a more accurate, automated and user-friendly system to meet our custom reporting and approval workflow requirements.”
Replicon TimeAttend will ensure users can easily capture the hours worked, and seamlessly integrate with Mimeo’s payroll system to ensure accurate payroll processing. Replicon CloudClock eliminates the traditional complexities and expenses of setting up hard-wired time clocks, as any tablet device with the application can punch in and out of shifts, deterring time theft associated with co-workers clocking into a shift with CloudClock’s built-in photo audit capability. Managers can check who is working on a shift in real-time, and approve time off requests from staff on their mobile devices.
In addition, Mimeo will be working with closely with Replicon to integrate specific manufacturing policies into the system, so that supervisors are automatically notified of any potential noncompliance issues. Replicon will also conduct an initial assessment of the relevant wage and hour laws to ensure that the system complies with the different labor laws in each country.
