Replicon servers not affected by Shellshock

Recently, independent research teams identified a new vulnerability in the GNU Bourne Again Shell software component (Bash). Dubbed “Shellshock,” this bug can be used by hackers to take control of a system remotely and exploit Web servers.

Our security team has determined that our servers are not vulnerable to the Shellshock bug. However, as an extra precaution, we have ensured that all servers within our organization that use Bash have been patched to the current version, which does not contain the vulnerability.

Replicon takes every measure to safeguard our customers’ data. Please feel free to reach out to our Technical Support Team if you have any concerns or questions: 1-877-662-2519 (North America) and +800 6622 5192 (Outside North America).
