Calgary, Alberta – November 23, 2009 — The PROFIT W100 ranks Canada’s women entrepreneurs on the basis of their firms’ size, profitability and three-year growth rate. Now in its 11th year, the PROFIT W100 ranking and awards program is Canada’s largest celebration of entrepreneurial achievement by women.

The ranking, determined by company revenue, growth and profitability, represents the continued success of Replicon’s suite of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products, which help organizations better manage their project costs, timelines, client billing, payroll and employee time tracking.

“The women atop the W100 show that winning in business means tapping profitable niches, empowering your staff and trusting your gut,” says Kim Shiffman of PROFIT magazine. “Innovative and focused on growth, they’re just what’s needed to inspire and inform entrepreneurs in a challenging economy.”

Lakshmi Raj co-founded Replicon in 1996 with the aim of streamlining time and expense tracking into a single comprehensive solution that could be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection. Maintaining this customer-centric focus, the company has since grown to become the global leader in timesheet and expense management software with 1.2 million users worldwide.
