Replicon Angels Spread their Wings at Local Community Food Banks

This week Replicon angels in the San Mateo and Calgary offices volunteered at their local food banks to help pack food for needy families this holiday season. The San Mateo Replicon Angels helped sort all types of food products for the Second Harvest Food Bank which helped deliver food to over 243,000 needy families every month. The Calgary Replicon Angels boxed nearly 1,000 pounds of canned goods in a YYCTech campaign with 12 other local tech companies to raise funds for the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank. Our own Suzie Atherton was even featured on the Calgary Eye Opener program on CBC Calgary radio.

While it’s easy to get caught up in the commercialization of the holiday season, our angels demonstrated true holiday spirit by giving back to our local communities. While the global economy slowly rebounds, many families around the world are still struggling. At Replicon, we were glad to make a small contribution in helping to end hunger in our own backyards.
