1-800-GOT-JUNK? Selects Replicon’s Web TimeOff to Streamline Time Off Processes

Calgary, AB (PRWEB) May 25, 2006 — Replicon, Inc., the corporate time and expense tracking vendor of choice for businesses, today announced that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? purchased Web TimeOff, the number one employee time off business solution. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is the “world’s largest junk removal service.”

Previously, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? relied on one person to manually administer time off requests, accruals and balances on excel spreadsheets and paper-based systems. With exponential growth of more than 1,500 employees in 247 locations worldwide, maintenance of time off requests and balances proved to be labor-intensive and prone to inaccuracies. As a result, approval cycles became a drawn-out process.

“We needed a system where employees could see their own vacation balances themselves, rather than always having to ask the payroll department or their manager,” explained Harpreet Sandhu, payroll and benefits administrator for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Vancouver, British Columbia (BC). “Our system was not efficient before; we had one person looking after so many people’s vacation.”

Sandhu explained that Replicon, Inc. was their vendor of choice because Web TimeOff comprised all of the significant features they needed.

“(Web TimeOff) is web-based and all employees could log-in online and access the program,” said Sandhu. The multi-level yet easy-to-use reporting function also highly appealed to them.

“1-800-GOT-JUNK? is a premier example of the hundreds of rapidly growing organizations that are utilizing Web TimeOff to automate their employee time off processes, which in turn augments company growth and improves workflow across the enterprise,” said Raj Narayanaswamy, co-founder and co-CEO of Replicon, Inc.
