When you book a Time Off for a duration which includes weekends, the weekend hours get calculated in the total number of hours in the entire duration of the Time Off raised.

User 'X' raised a Time off for the date range 9th September 2010 to 14th September 2010. This calculates to 6 days including 2 Weekly offs 11th and 12th September 2010 (Saturday and Sunday respectively). If the User has been allocated 8 hours in the 'Hours per day'field in the User Profile, then the total number of hours should be calculated for 4 days that would be 32 hours but instead it shows 48 hours.

This happens if the Weekly days are not been assigned to the User in the User profile.


  • Log in as an Administrator or with Admin credentials.
  • Click on Administration in the top menu.
  • Click on Users in the side menu, under shortcuts.
  • Edit the User profile, of the User who is facing this issue.
  • Click on Advanced.
  • In the Other section choose the Weekly days off by clicking on the drop down.
  • Delete the Time Off raised and re-book it.
