User is unable to log in to Mobile App due to an error prompting the user to change the password. The error seen is You must change password before using Replicon Mobile.


  • Whenever a new user is created, the administrator has an option of enabling Force password change on next login in the users profile. This ensures that the user is forced to change the password during the next log in. However, the option to change the password is not available on the Mobile App, hence the error.
  • Another reason could be that the password may have expired based on the Password expiry period set in the system preferences.

Request the user to log into the Web TimeSheet through a browser and change the password. Once the password is changed, the user can log in to the mobile app using the new password.
