Booking time off for a user

If an unexpected absence occurs, you can submit time off on behalf of a user. You can also edit or delete bookings for users.

To book time off for a user:

  1. Go to Payroll > Time Off.
  2. Click the Book Time Off button.

  1. Select the user for the booking.

  1. In the Type drop-down, choose the time off type to book against.

  1. Choose the Start and End date for the booking.

  1. If the user is only away for a portion of the start or end date, specify how much of the day they will miss. Then, enter the Start or End Time of the absence.

  1. Enter a comment for the booking, if desired.
  2. Click Submit for approval.
