Replicon provides a library of pre-defined pay rules for each US state, Canadian province and territory, and several other countries. We created and maintain these rules based on the labor laws of each jurisdiction.

We work hard to ensure the pre-defined pay rules match the current labor laws of each jurisdiction. However, we cannot guarantee that using the rule for a given region will put you in compliance with all employee pay regulations for that region. Please confirm that the pay rule you use meets all applicable labor laws for your jurisdiction.

9/80 Alternative Schedule
Employees work 9-hour days, Monday to Friday, over two weeks. They work an 8 hour day the first Friday, and get the second Friday off.
The first Friday is considered to be split into two, 4-hour periods, resulting in two 40 hour weeks which are used as the basis for calculating overtime. The first period ends the first week, and the second begins the second week:
1st 'week': (9 on Mon)+(9 on Tues)+(9 on Wed)+(9 on Thurs)+(4 on Fri)
2nd 'week': (4 on Friday)+(9 on Mon)+(9 on Tues)+(9 on Wed)+(9 on Thurs)+(Off on Fri)
