How your permissions affect what report data is available to you

Your assigned permissions determine what data you can view in reports. In some cases, your permissions may restrict you from viewing certain reports entirely. In other cases, they may limit what fields and data display in reports.

The table below provides an overview of how permissions determine report data access for each Replicon role.

In order to view any reports, you need the Report User role assigned in your permission sets.

Role

What data they can view in reports

Administrator

Can view data in the User and Department templates for all users they have access to

Supervisor

Can only see data for employees they supervise

Need View permission for each of the following to see that type of data:

  • Timesheets
  • Time Off
  • Expenses
  • Time Punches
  • Pay Details (specifically pay amounts)

Project Manager

The following Project Management permissions determine what projects, clients, and programs they can view:

  • My Projects, All Projects, Projects for My Clients, Projects in My Programs
  • Clients for My Projects, All Clients, My Clients
  • Programs for My Projects, All Programs, My Programs

The following Project Management permissions determine what data they can view for each project:

  • Projects - Required to view project report data
  • Tasks - Required to view Task reports
  • Team - Required to view Team reports
  • Expense Codes - Required to view expense data (for example, actual expenses)
  • Billing Data - Required to view billing data (for example, actual billing, actual billable hours, actual non-billable hours)
  • Cost Data - Required to view cost data (for example, actual cost, actual normalized cost)
  • Estimates - Required to view estimate fields (for example, estimated hours, remaining hours)
  • CapEx/OpEx Data - Required to view cost type and actual CapEx and OpEx cost

The above applies only to projects they have access to.

Resource Manager

Can view resource and project reports they have access to.

Cannot view cost, billing, and payroll data.

Client Rep

Can view their own user data only

Payroll Manager

Can view time, expense, time off, and time punch data for all users they have access to.

Cannot view cost and billing data.

Billing Manager

Can view time and expense data for all users.

Cannot view cost and payroll data.

Cost Manager

Can view time and expense data for all users they have access to.

Cannot view billing and payroll data.

Schedule Manager

Can view their own user data only

User

Can view their own user data only
