Setting up placeholder roles in Replicon

When allocating a placeholder to a project, the resource manager can specify which role the placeholder is intended to fill. For example, he may allocate two placeholders with the Designer role to indicate two designers are required on the project.

You can define roles based on the types of resources allocated in your organization.

To add a role:

1. Go to Administration > Employees and Organization > Project Roles.
2. Click the + Add Project Role button.
3. Enter a name and description.
4. Enter an hourly cost, which will be used for cost projections based on the placeholder’s allocations.
5. Click +Add Project Role.
