Activities are common functions that are performed across multiple projects. For example, a consulting company has three core functions – budgeting, design, and testing – that must be performed for every project they complete. Instead of adding these to each project as tasks, the functions can be defined globally as activities. Time can also be entered against a task and an activity in combination.
Users can enter time or be scheduled to enter time against a specific activity to which they are assigned. You can enforce employees to enter time against activity using the Web Schedule module.
