How to Allow Entry of arbitrary e-mail address for reports option?

  • Log into Web TimeSheet with administrative rights, and check the ‘Permissions’ assigned to the User.
  • Select 'Permissions' from the side menu, under' Users/Departments'.
  • Edit the 'Permission' that you found enabled for the user.
  • Click on ‘Reports’ tab.
  • Expand ‘Reports’ under ‘Reports’ tab.
  • Select the option ‘Allow Entry of arbitrary e-mail address for reports ‘.Click ‘Save’.
  • Log off and Log back into Web TimeSheet.
  • Other field will be Visible for the user in the ‘Add Report Schedule’ page.

How to check the Permissions assigned to the User?

Log into Web TimeSheet with administrative rights. Check the 'Permissions' assigned to the user, by editing user profile ->' Access' tab -> Permissions section.

Web TimeSheet can be configured to automatically generate and e-mail reports by creating report schedules
To e-mail the report to a Web TimeSheet user, he must be assigned an ‘Internal E-mail Address’. If you would like to email the report to the users who doesn’t have ‘Internal E-mail Address’ enter their E-mail address in the ‘Other’ field and select the lower '>>' button. Click on ‘Add’ button in the bottom. Reports will be sent to them.
