The user has installed QBI Manager on a system running on Windows 7 Operating System. When he launches QBI either from Start —– > All Programs or from within the QuickBooks application, he gets an error message Not enough space on Disk C:

User Account Control (UAC) on the Windows Operating System causes the error.


  • To resolve this issue, the user needs to turn off User Account Control. Please find below the steps to disable UAC.
  • Go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> Action Center.
  • Click on User Account Control settings link.
  • Slide the slider bar to the lowest value (towards Never Notify), with description showing Never notify me.
  • Click OK to make the change effective.
  • Restart the computer to turn off User Access Control.
