Summary:
Web TimeSheet performs optimally when the Project and Task fields are combined since (in this configuration) the system has to generate fewer drop-down list boxes. However, you may split these columns as mentioned below.

  • Log into Web TimeSheet with administrative rights. Select Administration icon from the top menu.
  • Select System from the side menu, and then go to System Preferences.
  • Under General tab, from the 'Timesheet Screen' section, enable the option Split project/task into two columns on timesheet.
  • Click on Save.

Note:
Changing Project/Task is a global change which will affect all the users.
