Summary:
When an employee is unavailable at work, and if his time off needs to be recorded in Web TimeSheet, the same day for Payroll / Administration purpose, then a Web TimeSheet administrator can book Time Off on behalf of that employee.

Resolution:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet with administrative privileges.
  • Select the Administrator icon from the top menu.
  • Click on Historical Time Off link from the left under Shortcuts.
  • Click on the Add button. (Refer the attached screenshot).
  • Select the name of the employee from the drop down option for User Name.
  • Select the appropriate Time Off Type name to which the time off needs to be booked for the employee.
  • Select the appropriate start, end dates and type suitable comments if required.
  • Click on Submit button.

Note:
Both the administrator and employee will need a Time & Attendance license to accomplish this task.
