The Timesheet is overdue email notification is sent on the due date, because it is set to be sent On due date in the Send message field instead of  X day(s) after the due date. Select 1 day after the due date in the Send message field, going forward it will be sent on 1 day after the due date. You have the flexibility to set this email notification to be sent up to 6 days after the due date.

Example:
Let’s say your timesheet period is Saturday-Friday.

You set the due date as zero days after the last day of the period so Friday is the due date for this timesheet period.
When you set On due date in the Send message field, email notification will be sent on Friday.
When you set 1 day after the due date in the Send message field, it will be sent on Saturday Likewise you can set the email notification to be sent up to 6 days after the due date.
