An error “Replicon.QBI.Standalonestartup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close” occurred while launching the QuickBooks Integration Manager.
This issue mainly occurs when .NET framework 3.5 version is installed on the machine where QuickBooks Integration Manager exists.
If there are no other applications that depend on .NET framework, uninstalling .NET framework 3.5 should resolve the issue. However, before uninstalling .NET framework 3.5, try repairing the installation. It is a good practice to check the event log for any application related error logs before deciding on uninstalling .NET framework 3.5.
After uninstalling .NET framework 3.5, ensure that the configuration settings for Windows Updates are changed from Automatic (Recommended) to Notify me but don’t automatically download or install them.
