Summary:
It is not possible to expand the width of Client, Project/Task, Activities columns in the In-Out timesheet. (Please see the attached screenshot to the solution). In between distinct columns, right next to the heading, typically one expects to point the mouse cursor there to expand the width of the column. This does not work in In-Out timesheet however works in Standard timesheet. If the width of the client column appears to be too short in In-Out timesheet, one can switch it to Standard timesheet (if valid permissions are available) and change the length of the Column to accommodate the name of the client. To do so, following steps needs to be performed. This is true for other columns also.

Resolution:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet as the user.
  • At the top right corner of the page, click on Settings beside the Logout button.
  • Change the Timesheet format to Standard. (Check the attached screenshot)
  • Click on Save.
  • Click the Timesheet icon at the top to load the timesheet.
  • Point the mouse cursor in between the columns to see the arrow turning in to a double headed arrow, click and hold the mouse, drag to expand the column width. (check the attached screenshot)
  • Click Save on the timesheet.
  • Once again, click on the Settings option next to the Logout button.
  • Change the Timesheet format to In-Out again.
  • Click on Save button.

Note:
Upon reverting to the In-Out timesheet, now the column width can be adjusted so that one can view the client name.
