Sometimes a user defined field may contain confidential data that should not be visible to other users. This can be achieved by making the user defined field as hidden once the data is entered.

Follow the steps below to hide a User Defined Field:

  • Login to Web TimeSheet as an Administrator.
  • Click on User Defined Fields under Users/Departments.
  • Select the appropriate tab, where User Defined Fields are created.
  • Edit the User Defined Field by clicking on the edit button beside it (or double click on the name).
  • Select the option Hide.
  • Click on Save.

If the User Defined field is hidden and enabled, it cannot be made as 'Required' field. This option is available only in 8.15 or higher version.
