Use a Daily Overtime Rule to pay employees for hours worked in excess of a set number you specify for all days of a certain type (all days, holidays, weekly days off, or work days) or for on a select day of the week.
You can specify that an employee be paid at the default Overtime pay code rate (1.5 times their regular pay rate) for hours that exceed 8 hours on a work day, and be paid at the default Double Time pay code rate (2 times their regular pay rate) for any hours worked on a weekly day off. Also, if you require employees to work, for example, 10 hours on Mondays, but 8 hours every other day, you can specify that an employee be paid at the Overtime rate for hours exceeding 10 hours for Mondays, and for hours exceeding 8 hours on all other work days.
