It is possible to assign a new validation rule to a user who already has a validation rule assigned to him. You have to set up an end date for the old validation rule and setup a new validation rule with effect from the next date.

Follow the steps below to add a new validation rule to the user:

  • Log in to Web TimeSheet with administrative rights.
  • Click on Users in the User/Departments category.
  • Edit the user who you want to assign the validation rule.
  • Click on Advanced tab once you are in the Edit user page.
  • Scroll down to the Other section, click on Add validation rule.
  • Set a start date and select the Validation rule.
  • Click on Done.
  • Click on Save.
