An administrator can request for a time off on behalf of other employees in the organization. This way the admin can override the Maximum overdraw setup in the Time off policy. However, the administrator will receive a warning message informing about the override.

Perform the following steps to book a time off on behalf of a user:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet with administrative rights.
  • Click on the Administration icon on the top menu.
  • Click on the Historical Time off on the left side menu under the Shortcuts category.
  • Click on the Add button located at the left bottom corner of the page.
  • Select the time off type and the user on behalf of whom you are raising this time off request.
  • Fill in the necessary details and click on Submit.
