If there is no Expense icon displayed on the top menu for the user even though expense license seat and expense permissions are enabled for a user in his profile.

Substitute user must have logged on to Web TimeSheet on behalf of the user where the substitute user is not been given access to the expenses feature of the user. If the Substitute users would have to enter expenses on user’s behalf then the access level ‘Expenses’ must be selected.

To enable the access level to Expenses feature for the substitute user, follow the steps given below:

  • Log on to Web TimeSheet as the administrator.
  • Edit the user’s profile.
  • Click on Advanced tab.
  • Click on Edit button beside the substitute user.
  • Select Expenses option under Access field.
  • Click Save.

Note: When you add a substitute user, you must specify what data they can access and what tasks they can carry out while logged in as your substitute.
