Will change in user name or email address affect historic data?

Changing the user name or email in the user profile would change all the historical information on the Timesheet, Reports, etc. For example, one user might have left the company a long back and now instead of creating a new user profile, the admin may want to modify the existing profile with a different user name or email address or a user may have changed his last name and wants the same to be reflected in all company data.
In the above scenarios, the administrator can modify the user profile by changing the name, doing this the new name will be reflected on all the historical timesheet and reports. It is not necessary to reopen the timesheet to have the changes reflected.
Note: Modifying the user name will overwrite the existing name and will display the modified name in all the historical records.
