In the Time & Attendance edition of Web TimeSheet, Default Time Zone is used for the Timecard feature, as follows:

  • The time zone in which audit trail details for timecards are displayed.
  • The time zone selected by default for new users. (The user's time zone is used to calculate the local time at which the user punches in or out).

Time data shown in other areas of Web TimeSheet, such as within Approval Details and e-mail notifications is based on the time provided by the Web TimeSheet server. Therefore, these times reflect the server's time zone, not the Default time zone. We recommend that the server's Regional Settings time zone matches the Default time zone in Web TimeSheet.
