The Welcome Message email by default contains the URL of the Web TimeSheet, the user name of the user and the password of the user. One of the most important thing about the Welcome email notification is that correct email address must be entered at the time of creating a user. If the email address is entered after the user is created, welcome email notifications will not go to such users. This article now describes different situations when the Welcome email notifications are triggered.

  • When users are created in Web TimeSheet by manually adding them into system.
  1. Log into Web TimeSheet with administrator privileges.
  2. Click on Administration tab.
  3. Click on Users section.
  4. Click on Add button in the screen.
  5. Type in email address in the Internal email with all other required details.
  6. Click Save.
  • When users are added in to application using CSV Import feature.
  1. Log into Web TimeSheet with administrator privileges.
  2. Click on Integration tab.
  3. Click on CSV Import.
  4. Select Browse button to browse the CSV file to Import.

Note: Required CSV file must exist to import the user containing the valid email address.

  • When users are added in to application using the conventional "Import Engine".(Import Engine is a command line interface which accepts CSV files as per the Import Engine specifications. Its specification documentation can be obtained from Replicon support).
