Why are external users unable to change their passwords?

External Users will not be able to change their password if the permission is not been assigned to them. To have the external users change their own password, follow the steps given below:

  • Log in as the administrator.
  • Click on Administration, from the top menu.
  • Click on Permissions under User / Department in the left menu.
  • In the Permission screen click on External User.
  • Expand the Settings sub-permission.
  • Check off Change password.
  • Click Save.
