How to assign a validation rule to a user?

To assign validation rule to a user, follow the steps given below:

  • Log in to Web TimeSheet with administrative rights.
  • Click on Users in the User/Departments category.
  • Click the Edit User button beside the user name to whom the validation rule need to applied.
  • In the Edit User page, select the Advanced tab.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the Validation Rule field.
  • Select the validation rule from the drop-down.
  • Click Save.
