Scenario:
Web TimeSheet administrator has created a report consisting of custom columns and has saved it as a public report. When the users run the report they are unable to view all the custom columns.

Resolution:
Make sure that the user(s) who are unable to view all the custom columns have the proper seat assignments assigned to them in their user profiles.

  • If a report consists of custom columns to display billing information and if the user who is running the report is assigned with only the Time & Attendance seat assignment in the user profile. Then when the user runs the report the custom column which is meant to display the billing information will not be visible for the user as the user does not have the Project & Billing seat assigned in the user profile.
  • In a case where a report has custom columns to display expense related information and if the user running the report is assigned with Time & Attendance and Project & Billing seat assignments in the user profile. Then when the user runs the report the custom column which is meant to display the the expense related information will not be visible for the user as the user does not have the Web Expense seat assigned in the user profile.
