Applies To: Web TimeSheet (SaaS only) with Smart Interface enabled.

SCENARIO:

In Web TimeSheet, the Hours Per Day is set to 8 hours as a default for any user. Only on Stat Days or Public Holidays, the Hours Per Day will have to be set to 15, so that users get to add hours, more than 8, exclusively only on statutory holidays because Stat day hours depends on the user's individual past 4 week's hours data, which would work using the following formula,

(Billable Hours + Non-billable Hours + Vacation Hours + Stat Day Hours) * 4 / 20

Hence, the users' current Stat Day hours could vary from 7 to 15 hours and thus required to be able to record hours more than 8 hours, for these days.

RESOLUTION:

Assuming the following as the standard Stat Days in a year,

01/01/2011 – New Year's Day
02/21/2011 – Family Day
04/22/2011 – Good Friday
05/23/2011 – Victoria Day
07/01/2011 – Canada Day
08/01/2011 – Civic/Provincial Day
09/05/2011 – Labour Day
10/10/2011 – Thanksgiving Day
12/25/2011 – Christmas Day
12/26/2011 – Boxing Day
