A user belongs to a department which is disabled. Now this user has to be assigned to a new department. The user, who belongs to the disabled department, can be assigned to the new department by enabling the disabled department and then changing the primary department in the User Edit page or else it would not change.

The other way to change the department of the user who is from the disabled department is by dragging and dropping the user from the old disabled department to the new one. Follow the steps given below:

  • Log in to Web TimeSheet as an administrator.
  • Go to Users.
  • Select the user from the disabled department.
  • Drag and Drop the user from the disabled department to the new department.
