To restrict users from accessing the Timesheet Detail report in Web TimeSheet, follow the steps given below:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet with administrative privileges.
  • Click on the Administration icon on the top left of the browser.
  • From the left panel expand Users/Departments and select Permissions.
  • Click on the add button placed in the bottom left of the permissions page.
  • Give a name and description and verify if the enabled option in check marked.
  • Click the Reports tab.
  • Expand Time Reports.
  • Check mark the Timesheet Detail report and click on the Save button.
  • Now click on the users link under Users/Departments.
  • Select the user(s) for whom the newly created permission has to be assigned.
  • Click on the Edit button placed on the bottom left of the page.
  • Check mark the newly created permission and click on the Save button.
