Web TimeSheet includes a number of predefined permission profiles that represent sets of actions for typical type of users. These permissions meet the requirements of many organizations, however it can be modified any time by the administrator according to the organization needs. You can even create a new permission profile based on other permission profiles in the system and enable/disable selective sub-permission as required.

To edit the permissions in Web TimeSheet, follow the steps given below,

  • Log into Web TimeSheet as the administrator.
  • Select the Administration tab from the top menu bar.
  • Select Permissions from the left pane, under the Users/Departments category.
  • The list of all the permissions available in the system is available in the Permissions page.
  • Click the Edit button beside specific permission profiles to edit the permissions or click Add at the bottom to add new permissions.
