Scenario:
The user is located in New York and the timesheet was setup in the United Kingdom. The user has been assigned the United Kingdom calendar instead of the United States calendar.  The user who is assigned the US calendar works on a UK holiday. While trying to enter 8 hours of time on the UK holiday, the user encounters a validation error "Week days/Holidays should be greater than or equal to 8 hours".

Resolution:
The solution for this issue is to change the holiday calendar in the user(s) profile. In order to do so follow you will need to follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Web TimeSheet as the Administrator.
  • Click on the Administration icon.
  • Then click on Users in the Users/Departments section.
  • Click on the Advanced tab in the Edit User screen.
  • In Other section, click on the drop down next to Holiday Calendar to change the calendar for the user.
