An expense approver trying to approve an expense sheet, may see some rows of the expense sheet in grey and cannot edit it. This usually happens when all the below given conditions are prevalent.

  • The expense approval path includes project leader.
  • The expense sheet contains expense entries for projects, for which the approver is not a project leader.
  • Then the approver (project leader) can see the expenses associated with others projects, but, cannot edit it (The entries are grayed out).
