Scenario 1:
User has booked wrong number of hours against a time off type in the timesheet and the timesheet and time off have been approved.

Resolution:

In order to get this issue resolved the timesheet(s) and the time off(s) has to be deleted from historical timesheets and historical time off. Then the timesheet(s) need to be regenerated by logging in as the user and the time off(s) need to be booked again.

In order to delete the timesheet(s) follow these steps:
  • Login to the Web TimeSheet as the Administrator.
  • Click on the Administrator icon.
  • In the Shortcuts section click on Historical TimeSheets.
  • In the Historical Timesheets use the User, Timesheet Period, Department and Approval Status filters in order to pull up the timesheet(s) for the user(s).
  • Put a check mark next to the timesheets and then click on the Delete button.
In order to delete the time off follow these steps:
  • Login to the Web TimeSheet as the Administrator.
  • Click on the Administrator icon.
  • In the Shortcuts section click on Historical Time Off.
  • Use the Search box in the Search section to pull up the time off(s) booked by the user.
  • Click on the Delete Time Off Booking next to the time off(s) or click on the Delete at the bottom of the page.

Scenario 2:
User has booked the right number of hours against a wrong time off type and the right time off type does not appear when he is trying to book a time off type.

Resolution:
In order to get this issue resolved the timesheet(s) and the time off(s) has to be deleted from historical timesheets and historical time off. Then the timesheet(s) need to be regenerated by logging in as the user and the time off(s) need to be booked again. The right time off type has to be enabled in the user profile.
In order to delete the timesheet(s) follow these steps:
  • Login to the Web TimeSheet as the Administrator.
  • Click on the Administrator icon.
  • In the Shortcuts section click on Historical TimeSheets.
  • In the Historical Timesheets use the User, Timesheet Period, Department and Approval Status filters in order to pull up the timesheet(s) for the user(s).
  • Put a check mark next to the timesheets and then click on the Delete button.
In order to delete the time off follow these steps:
  • Login to the Web TimeSheet as the Administrator.
  • Click on the Administrator icon.
  • In the Shortcuts section click on Historical Time Off.
  • Use the Search box in the Search section to pull up the time off(s) booked by the user.
  • Click on the Delete Time Off Booking next to the time off(s) or click on the Delete at the bottom of the page.

In order assign the time off type in the user's profile, follow these steps:
  • Login to the Web TimeSheet as the Administrator.
  • Click on the Administration icon.
  • Then click on Users in the Users/Departments section.
  • Use the Search box in the Search section to search for the user(s) profile where the time off type needs to be enabled.
  • Click on the Edit User icon next to the user(s) name.
  • In the Edit User page click in the Time Off tab. 
  • Put a check mark next to the time off type that needs to appear while the user is trying to book a time off.

Note: After following the above steps, log in as the user(s) regenerate the timesheet, enter the time and book the time off(s) as required.
