The following error message occurs when trying to integrate QuickBooks with Web TimeSheet although QuickBooks is already open and available for use.

"Unable to connect to QuickBooks because QuickBooks is not opened"

QuickBooks did not start properly or contains non-responsive processes in the background.


  • Go to Task Manager > Processes.
  • Locate and kill all the QuickBooks process.
  • Re-open QuickBooks.
