Any report with custom column that includes Billing fields (eg. Billable Amount) disappears automatically.

The Use Billing Information is disabled under Administrator (top menu bar) > System (left panel) > System Preference and hence the billing fields disappear. Once this option is disabled, the billing and costing feature is removed from the application and thus reports with billable fields will no longer be able to query billing information from the database and since custom columns are based on the existing fields in the reports, thus is the behavior exhibited.

Enable Use Billing Information from System Preferences. To enable the billing information, follow the steps given below:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet as the administrator.
  • Select Administration from the top menu bar.
  • Select System Preferences from the left pane, under the System category.
  • In the System Preferences page put a check mark next to Use Billing Information, under the Usage category.
  • Click Save.
