When setting up time off, Web TimeSheet administrators define policies that specify how many days are available to each user for each time off type. Users can then book what time off they want to take against the appropriate type. Or, they may be allowed to enter time against specific time off types directly in their timesheet (non-booked time off).

To book time off against multiple time off types on a single day, follow the steps given below:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet as the administrator.
  • Select Administration tab from the top menu bar.
  • Select Users from the left pane, under the Users/Departments category.
  • From the List Users page, click the Edit button next to the respective users.
  • In the Edit User page, select the Advanced tab and scroll down to the bottom.
  • Set the Hours Per Day to a greater value than the default 8 hours.
  • Select System Preferences from the left pane, under the System tab.
  • Set the Minimum amount of Timeoff required in bookings to < None >.
  • Click Save.
  • Select the Time Off tab from the top menu bar.
  • From the time off calendar, book time off for more than one time off type.

Note: You will be allowed to book multiple time off on a specific day based on the number of hours set on user's profile.
