Changes made to a task cannot be tracked automatically. As a work around, create and use a text-type Task user defined field to track your changes. Task user defined fields display on the Edit Task pages in Web TimeSheet, and can be included as column in many Project reports.
 
In order to create a Text-type Task user defined field, perform the following steps:
  • Login to the Web TimeSheet as an admin.
  • Go to Administration and click on User Defined Fields under Users/Departments/Timesheet Setup/Time Off Setup/Expense Setup.
  • Click on Task on the top.
  • Click on the Edit icon in the Menu column or on "Unused" in the Name column.
  • Type the name and select the Type as Text. Make sure the Enabled Box is ticked.
  • Click on Save.
