You can save your current configuration options of the QuickBooks integration manager (QBim) by exporting the settings to a .qbi file. The file can be imported anytime later, into QBim to have the same configuration. Exportable settings include wizard settings, Features and Utilities selections, and configurable options (such as the Web TimeSheet URL, error prompt settings, and login name and password).

To export your settings:
  • From the side menu, select Configuration Settings
  • Click Export to save your settings to a file.
  • Choose the location where you'd like the .qbi file saved.
  • Enter a file name in the field provided, and select Save. If you don't include the .qbi extension, it will be added to the files name when it is saved.
