Issue: Browser does not respond after a user enters credentials and tries to login. 
 
Symptoms:
  • When a user tries to logs in to Web TimeSheet, the browser doesn't do anything but on some occasions it works.
  • Works fine with Internet Explorer 7 but not with Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Google Chrome or Mozilla Fire Fox.
  • Internet Explorer Browser comes up with 404 and 405 errors.
  • Does not work with compatibility mode.
  • Disabling AVG Antivirus does not help.
  • Disabling Windows Firewall does not help.
Solution:
  • Add exceptions to replicon.com to the Windows Firewall.
  • Un-install AVG and when re-installing it, select custom install and deselect Links Scanner.
