A Finance Administrator in a company may require to raise only Expenses and hence would be provided only with an Expense license. Under such a circumstance if the company wants the Administrator to raise expenses against Projects to bill the client, it would not be possible.

When a user is assigned with Expense license only, then, the Web TimeSheet will allow the individual to raise Generic Expenses only. The user cannot raise expenses against any project.

The user has to be assigned TimeBill license to be able to raise expenses against projects. To enable the same follow the steps given below.

  • Assign TimeBill Module to the Administrator (refer attached image).


  • Make sure to have Administrator in the Project Team and the Expense Type is listed under Allowable Expenses on Project screen.
  • Ensure Expense permission assigned is Project specific as shown below.
