When a new user is created the default settings of Hours per day is automatically applied to the user's profile (based on what has been set in System preferences). However, sometimes the administrator may not be able to edit and change the Hours Per day in the user's profile.

If no Seat Assignments are applied to the User's profile, then Hours Per day for the user will be the Default Hours Per Day (based on what has been set in System preferences) and will be Read Only.

This issue can be resolved by applying one or more Seat Assignments to the User's profile.

Steps to apply Seat Assignments:

  • Log into Web TimeSheet as an Administrator.
  • Click on the Administration tab from the top menu.
  • Click on Users under the User/Departments section from the side menu.
  • Click on edit  icon beside the User's name.
  • In the users profile under the Access tab locate Seat Assignments.
  • Enable the required seat assignments for the User.
  • Save the settings by clicking on the Save button at the bottom.
