Steps to disable the task bar from appearing on a users timesheet:

  • Log into the Web TimeSheet as an Administrator.
  • Select the Administration tab in the top menu.
  • Select Users located under Shortcuts section or in the Users/Departments section in the side menu.
  • Edit the user profile of the users for whom the task progress bar should disabled and make a note of the common permission assigned to them.
  • Click on Permissions in the Users/Departments section in the side menu.
  • Then click on the Edit icon beside the name of the permission in the Permissions screen.
  • In the System tab, expand the Timesheet section.
  • Locate the option Show task progress in timesheet and uncheck it.
  • Click on Save.
